Taipei – 2011 June – SEMOPS completed the establishment of its reference payment architecture in Taiwan.

Budapest – February 2011 – SEMOPS, which is primarily a payment service for remote transactions, has integrated NFC (the wireless short range communication technology) with its mobile payment application effectively combining proximity and remote payment functions in one common application.

Hungary – November 2010 – Agents, visiting their customers in their homes, can now collect payment with their SEMOPS application in their handsets.

Hungary – July 2011 – Dijnet and SafePay have decided that the payment service implemented and operated jointly by the two companies will be branded DigiCheck in Hungary and in the neighboring countries.

Hungary – June 2010 – Many of the paper invoices issued by the Hungarian utilities started to carry QR codes which can be read by the SEMOPS mobile applications and can be paid electronically.

Athens – December 2007/January 2008 – The SEMOPS pilot was evaluated favorably by participants of the Greek e-payment pilot of SEMOPS

Athens – 27 December 2007 – The first phase of the pilot operation in Greece was successfully completed with evaluation results exceeding initial expectations.

Milan – 20 November 2007 – The SEMOPS service was successfully deployed in Italy with both the bank module and data center being deployed and tested in Milan.
